UHMW (ultra high
molecular weight) poly is the only choice in industrial and
agricultural applications where abrasion resistance is required. A
unique process has been developed to pre-form UHMW to fit onto new or
worn steel auger flighting, thus extending the life of the auger.
Typical applications would be combines, grain carts, transport augers,
grain bin augers and grain handling systems, wherever there is high
volume and wear is a problem.

A size to fit all
The wear shoes are
available in different diameters, pitches and thickness to fit most
common augers. Each individual wear shoe covers one pitch (revolution)
of the auger. They are pre-formed and pre-drilled for easy
installation. They join together using a patented bevel lap joint and
are bolted to the auger with special UHMW-capped bolts which are
counter sunk for a smooth surface.
Smooth even flow of
grain
Smooth poly provides a slick surface for grain to flow freely and reduces
bunching or build-up, slowing auger speeds and harvesting rate of your
combine.
