Poly Reduces Mud Build-Up. The smooth, slick surface of the poly eliminates the bunching and build-up of dirt and debris, which increases compaction.

Seeds Germinate Faster. Looser soil created by the poly closing wheels allows the heat to filtrate in and speed up germination. Germination takes place 3-5 days sooner. This allows the plants to emerge more evenly and grow at a faster rate.

Creates Stronger Root Base. The poly planter wheel covers the seed with loose soil by shattering and chewing the trench wall instead of squeezing the walls together. The plant root has more room to spread and grow, allowing it to root more firmly in the ground.

Increased Yield Potential. By using poly closing wheels, you create faster germination, stronger root base, ideal growing conditions - a combination allowing you to maximize the yield potential of your crop.

RUN IN ANY COMBINATION on your planter!
Two Smooth Wheels - Provides greater pressure in lighter soils. The beveled edge provides a narrow, concentrated area for pinching the soil closed.
One 12" Star Wheel and One 10" Smooth Wheel - Run in combination to give an equal amount of compression and action for less aggressive dirt movement.
Two Star Wheels - Provides least amount of sidewall compaction for heavy wet soils. Creates chewing action to break down the side and loosely cover seed.
Recommended Use of Seed Packer. Use in conjunction with a Seed Packer System for maximum efficiency of planter. (Seed lock, seed firmer or seed enforcer.)
